Jaypee Greens to build a luxury housing project in Noida

Jaypee Group’s realty arm Jaypee Greens will develop a luxury housing project in Noida with a minimum sales realisation of Rs 360 crore. The project Knight Court will be a part of its 1,162 acre integrated township Wishtown in Noida.

The company has already launched this project and would offer 300 apartments at a starting price of Rs 1.19 crore, Jaypee Greens said in a statement.

“Residences at Knight Court at Jaypee Greens, Wishtown are poised to offer high-end living with a full view of the eighteen-hole golf course,” Jaypee Group director Rita V Dixit said.

Jaypee Greens has developed a 452 acre township in Greater Noida and Wishtown is its second township project.

The Knight’s Court towers would be 20 stories high, with two apartments on each floor giving feeling of openness. These apartments are offered in different options of 3/4 BHK & 4/5 BHK Penthouses available in sizes 2,055-2,675 sq ft, 2,690-2,950 sq ft and 3,880-5,100 sq ft respectively. The price of an apartment starts from Rs 1.19 crore.

In addition to this, Knight’s Court comes with uncountable community benefits of India’s First Wish Town spread in 1162 acres of land. The project would be located adjacent to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway making it easily accessible from main areas of South Delhi. The apartments would have benefits of uninterrupted views of the 1st & 18th Hole of the golf course. A resident exclusive club offering various recreational facilities would also be provided with Knight’s Court.

The revenue of realty division grew by 48 per cent at Rs 653.57 crore during last fiscal, which is about 6 per cent of the Jaiprakash Associates total turnover of 10,316 crore in 2009-10 fiscal.

Jaypee Infratech profit jumps 83% to Rs 487 crore

Jaypee Infratech, a Jaypee Group company, has reported a 83 per cent jump in profit after tax for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, at Rs 487.49 crore.

The company recorded Rs 266.73 crore in profit after tax in the same period last year, a company statement said.

Net sales rose 15 per cent to Rs 640.66 crore compared to Rs 554.54 crore during the corresponding period last fiscal.

Jaypee Infratech was incorporated as a Special Purpose Vehicle for the implementing the 165-km Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh connecting Noida and Agra.

The company was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange on May 21, 2010, with a discount of nearly nine per cent over its issue price at Rs 93.
